About Mike Belcher

Michael Belcher is a second-term Republican member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing Carroll County District 4. He serves on the Education Policy and Administration Committee and the State-Federal Relations and Veterans Affairs Committee, and served on the Covid-19 Investigative Committee, where he was the primary author of the majority report.

Before politics, he worked the streets and in the trades — as a wilderness EMT and paramedic, then as a marine electrician at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, where he survived an industrial accident aboard a nuclear submarine.

He lives in Wakefield, NH with his wife, daughter, and stepson. He is a Reformed Christian. He writes at A Path Through. He is, by his own admission, capable of making literally everyone mad on X.
